Jai Jagat Yatra has reached Union Carbide, the place where thousands of people died as sacrifice for the development model in the form of the biggest chemical tragedy in Bhopal. Rajaji says, “We all are responsible for their death. If we don’t feel responsible to stand against the present exploitative development model, then we may have to sacrifice many. The present model is based on exploitation of people and nature for the wants of a few. We are looking at a development model that brings justice to all.”
Jill Behen says, ” We are walking 12000km to take solutions, case studies to UN and have dialogues on the dire need and relevance of a non-violent development economy.”
