The volunteers of the Geneva Support Group played an extensive role in coordinating the week long program. They did the ground-work for the passing of the resolutions by the Municipality and the State of Geneva for welcoming the Jai Jagat marchers; they networked with a large number of civil society groups, both marginalized communities as well as academics, students and journalists.
The Geneva Support Group have decided to set up an association in the coming month for which they could help to assemble material and financial resources for the Jai Jagat Geneva action.
