“Jai Jagat padyatra is a lamp of light in these times of terror and violence. To me it was easy to decide to walk through 10 countries as the world is suffering from poverty and violence.”
Born in Madhya Pradesh, Jai Singh Jadon has been working since the past many years with the poor and the underprivileged aiming to bring their voice to the mainstream as stakeholders, encouraging a cohesive nation building process. He now lives in Rajasthan where he has been active as an Ekta member and a veteran padyatree (foot marcher). The poor and vulnerable state of the adivasis motivated him deeply in his life journey that is subsequently taking him on this global padyatra.
He is deeply inspired by Rajagopal’s vision of a peaceful and united world; and the ancient wisdom of Vasudeva Kutumba ‘the world as one family’. He states his primary objective to partake in this long and arduous journey is to understand the various problems being faced by different countries in order to find solutions to bring about a united planet.
