From 2 October to 2 November 2021, activist and storyteller Pushpanath ‘Push’ Krishnamurthy is doing an epic walk for climate justice. He is walking 650 kilometres, 1 million steps across 32 days, from Mahatma Gandhi’s statue at the Parliament Square in London, England to the UN Climate Conference 2021, Cop-26 at Glasgow, Scotland.
Along the way Push will stop in cities, towns and villages, to share stories and inspiration with the people he meets in local communities, schools and places of worship. He is accompanied by Janmejay Singh, a Jai Jagat filmmaker and activist who is filming Push’s journey, and Dhira Chakraborty, an artist.
