The School visits began with a presentation to St. Mary’s Convent in which 2000 primary and middle school students were present. In the adjoining school in which there were 4000 students from primary to higher secondary, both enjoyed learning about the Jai Jagat march as an intercultural experience. Following this the core walkers visited 18 schools covering a population of 22,000 and helping them to understand the reason that a cross-continental walk was important in meeting some of today’s global challenges. The visits were organized in collaboration with the MLA Vidisha.
